Our name..
Our rescue is named after our beloved Praxie. Praxie waited 5 years at the shelter to find his forever home. Our promise is that no dog will have to wait as long as Praxie did, to simply be loved and have a home. He is an inspiration to us all, even after 5 years, he sat hopeful. He is now loved unconditionally and lives the life of luxury he deserves to. We love you Praxie!

We are a UK based non-profit charity that support a small shelter on the Island of Crete.
The shelter provides protection and hope for the injured and stray animals of Crete. The shelter has rescued thousands of vulnerable animals and has been a sanctuary of safety
We are a non profit organisation that receives no government funding, we rely solely on the donations of generous animal lovers so that we can continue to save thousands more animals.
We believe that dogs and cats are family, and that every dog and cat deserve a loving home and a family to call their own. Our passion is to give these animals the chance they deserve.

Our dog of the month is Sooty!
Sooty is 2 years old and is the most loving boy.. He loves other dogs and would be the PERFECT family dog. Look at those ears!
